We realize a lot of you are busy or may be new to ED, so here's just the most important info:

• Read ED:101. Seriously. The information contained within is invaluable. Further tutorials of use can be found here.
• To answer a message, reply on the user's talk page (Tab at the top that says 'discussion').
• Sign your comments by using four tildes (like this ~~~~)
• These are the sysops. If you have a problem, talk to them. They're here to help; we promise.
• The TJC is the community portal. It's linked to from every page; just look at the top left of the page. Check it daily.
• Use Special:Upload to upload pictures. Be sure to give them meaningful names. Also, do not upload any CP or Bestiality pr0n or you will be b&.
• Feeling social? Enjoy forums? Join here.
• See ED:HELP and ED:POLICY for everything else.

Animals

hi. yes, you can customize your sig. it is under preferences, tick the box that says " Treat signature as wikitext (without an automatic link)", and insert your code there. some people will use a subpage, like User:Hipcrime/sig, and place {{User:Hipcrime/sig}} there, or you can {{subst:User:Hipcrime/sig}}. or you could just put your custom sig in there. hth. :) -hipcrime 08:03, 18 July 2012 (EDT)

if you're worried about having the colors interfere with the link, you can put span tags inside the pipe like [[ User:Suki | <span style="color:pink;"> Suki </span> ]] . That is how I get such a glorious rainbow without the link being blue. Mike the Great (talk) 21:56, 28 July 2012 (EDT)

I wasn't saying replace it, only alter functionality, and only if you want to. I was saying Suki would give a link to your page as well as making the baloon gif link to your talk page. It's your sig you can make it rainbow blinkies for all anybody else matters, I was actually mistaken and thought your old sig had the links and you sacrificed them to make it pink, and was trying to say it wasn't necessary Mike the Great (talk) 14:02, 1 August 2012 (EDT)
