Throwaway

On the internets, a Throwaway is a mostly useless account which is created with the intent of being discarded after brief use. They are common with emailing and on sites such as Reddit, Yahoo Answers, Twitch, Forums, JewTube, Wikipedia/Wikia, and even Encyclopedia Dramatica itself (At any given moment, 90% of these accounts are throwaways that sit there and collect dust. We get about 10 of these losers on any given day.)

Reasons for using throwaways

• To discuss that fetish you are too embarrassed to tell anyone about IRL, you filthy fucking faggot. (Here's a typical thread started by a throwaway, and another one, and here's some bastard who literally made his account to make one fucking post.)
• To bitch about your spouse cheating on you, and expecting anyone on the internet to give a fuck. There's a shit-ton of these threads on various subreddits, and sometimes these fags even make it into the news.
• Trolling
• Spam
• 1337 hax0rs in MMORPGs
• Leeking n00dz
• Evading B&
• Confessing to having committed a crime.
• You snorted cocaine the other night and feel guilty.
