Star Citizen (a.k.a Star Shitizen) is a multi-million dollar crowdfunding scam and glorified tech-demo that was created in 2011 by Chris Roberts—a failed movie producer and has-been video game designer who created a series called Wing Commander back in the early 90s—and his company, Cloud Imperium Games, which was created for the project and has absolutely no releases under its belt.
