Hitler did nothing wrong is a paradoxical statement that is most often used by internet trolls who just want to piss people off and by inbred wannabe Neo-Nazis who are too fucking stupid to see the sheer level of irony in the statement. After all, if Adolf Hitler did, in fact, do absolutely nothing wrong then why the fuck are there still unroasted Jews living in my neighbourhood?
—What Hitler did |
History
The statement itself was first used unironically by Neo-Nazis in the years after World War II, and the possibly the most notable event that happened was in 1960's London. This was a time where people weren't as cucked about free speech as they are now, and you had the right to say whatever dumb shit you wanted.

In Internet Trolling
As far back as the inception of 4chan, the phrase was used extensively as a means to an end to piss off normies who take everything too seriously. It has also featured the constituent ingredient for many Lulz. One only has to look at the Dub the Dew contest to see how effective this phrase is in generating butthurt.

British comedians are best known for their dry wit, edgy material and their ability to poke fun at everything and everyone. Or at least they used to be, until it was decided that telling jokes were politically incorrect. Jimmy Carr reached viral levels of internet shitlordery by rocking the boat against this taboo with the "His Dark Material" comedy special, in which he told his audience the following:
While the audience laughed understanding the context that this was a joke, that didn't stop several charities such as Holocaust Memorial Day Trust, the Auschwitz Memorial and Hope Not Hate from condemning the special and rallying their sycophant followers to boycott Netflix. At least one Labour MP went on twitter to show they've written a letter to Netflix demanding it be taken down, claiming that "in funding, streaming and profiting from this material, Netflix is legitimising and perpetuating racism” Mikey Walsh, a jippo who wrote several books about being a jippo, said "I don’t know what I should be more gutted or disgusted by here. The kind of Racism that us GRT people are forced to live with every daym that’s it’s still absolutely ok to demonise us & our demise as a joke, or the reactions of whooping & cheering from the audience."
