The Room is a 2003 dramablack comedy film that in a nutshell, examines what happens when an emotionally unstable girlyman gets involved in a love triangle that also includes his fiance and his bff. This cinimatic masterpiece was written, directed, produced, and starred in by Tommy Wiseau, a gangly, eccentric, Alice Cooper look-alike who resides in San Francisco, but speaks in a manner and accent similar to that of a deranged, German transsexual whose had a little too much ale.
Meet the Characters
Being the brilliant screenwriter he is, Tommy created a number of colorful characters for his film. However, most of the were rather forgettable since this movie is all about Mr. Wiseau himself and his bizarre love life.
Johnny: Played by Wiseau himself, Johnny is the main character of this trainwreck and Tommy's avatar/mary sue.
