Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis

Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis is a 'tacticool shooter' and 'battlefield simulator' video game developed by Bohemia Interactive Studio and published by Cockmasters. It was released on June 22, 2001 and was et on a group of made up islands in 1985. Operation Flashpoint lets you play as one of three sides, Americans, Soviets, and the 'Resistance' but fuck those guys. Two expansion packs were released which introduced various new features and improved graphics and sound effects but couldnt hide the fact that its a shit game. Operation Flashpoint was praised for its attention to realistic combat.

This is the game that spawned Arma, so blame these guys for creating a generation of basement dwelling 20 somethings pretending they served in the military on /k/.

Released in 2009, this game finally uses proper graphics and is when you first see the creators hatred for the Chinese.

The game starts of with the Chinese stealing an island from the Russians who cry to the US to help.

You play as "Outlaw 2 Bravo", a United States Marine Corps fireteam during a fake conflict in Tajikistan in 2013.

Characters

S/Sgt Damien Knox - Outlaw 2's commander, a nigger that swears a lot and has 10 commandments

Sgt William Kirby - You, time to engage Beast Mode.

L/Cpl Daniel Taylor - A marine whose face is never revealed to the player, probably because he is fuck ugly. He is the second in command of Outlaw 2 Bravo, the player's fireteam. This is strange because he is the lowest ranking person in the fireteam. Just kidding, he sucked a fuckload of dicks.

Cpl Jose Soto - The scout sniper and third in command of Outlaw 2 Bravo. King of xXx360n0-Sc0pezxXx.

Cpl Ryan Balletto - The machine gunner of Outlaw 2 Bravo and a massive redneck.

Sgt Sorenson - A sergeant who commands Outlaw 2 Charlie, one of the other fireteams. Generic as it gets

Sgt McGee - Possibly the most realistic character in the squad.
