My argument:

I’ve gone about a year without diapers, and I’ve really felt a desire to have them again. The urge to indulge has always been present, however with summer’s arrival and other factors, I really want to buy some.

• Why I should have them:
  • I’ve done all that’s been requested of me so far. I’ve gotten good grades, I’ve graduated, and I’ve done chores upon your request. On top of that, I really haven’t gotten anything particularly material from you and mom, and this would be great as something to relieve the tension before school starts.
• “It’s not normal.”

I’m aware that my tendency to regress is abnormal to society, and that most would not understand my nature, and some would even reject it. However, I do not wear publicly, and I keep a reasonably low profile with it. On top of that, I’ve never really tried to fit the “normal” stereotype.

• “It’s expensive.”

I have enough money to purchase the diapers on my own, and considering that I am almost 18 and have my own money, this would be a struggle of independence. It’s really not expensive at all, considering shipping is free, and it costs about $28 for a bag.

• “You live in my house by my rules.”

While I understand and respect your rules of the house, I strongly disagree with your logic. I have not harmed anybody in the past by wearing, I mainly wear at night, and I have learned to be cautious about wearing.

Wearing diapers is NOTHING similar to what you have compared it to in the past. It does not extend into daily life, and it certainly isn’t the only thing I do to relieve stress in life. I would simply like another outlet. It doesn’t harm anybody, and it’s not anything addictive either.

I’m not harming anybody by doing this, and it actually helps reduce my stress level and the constant anxiety I face on a day to day basis. It’s not a sexual thing, it’s not a desire to have a label, it’s just something that WORKS, and you want me to find something else. With the fact that what I want costs 28$ (free shipping), it would last for a month or two, and it would help me out. If you want to say no, go ahead, but I’m just trying to make my argument clear that I disagree with your logic. Every time you ask me why I’m feeling down, you should know why by now. I just want to make you understand that this is something that will continue for a little while.
