there is no "accidental" vandalism, every user is greeted with the same {{welcome}} message instructing them to lurk and lern 2 wiki before making serious edits, and even if they arent given fair warning, a zero-tolerance policy on shit edits is the broadest and best brush to paint with anyway, for a site like ed that pulls in traffic from all corners of the net, where newcomers should already have experience with netiquette. its not supposed to be our job to hold peoples hands. if you do then yhbt. there are more people making legit edits than non, and yeah so maybe someone decides down the line to not be a retard, by that time their infinite ban wont effect them because their ip's probably rolled over by then, and if not they can go to arbchat, which among other things, was conceived with this exact purpose in mind. im actually kind of disappoint that we haven't had one yet tbh H64 06:38, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
