Yeah i see your point, i was considering merging the two, as i cant delete the Sleeping article, what would you advise? merging or what? in my defense i at least see some relevance in keeping at least one article on the series. Sorry, I didn't see that question. At the moment, OhI is serving as a home to the old ED's Nomenklatura / Intelligentsia. They believe that they're a step above the userbase. I was never a fan of the site's Web 2.0 design. For me, Web 2.0 (social networking) represents the worst of the Internet, since Web 2.0 enables attention-seekers. The web should be about sharing and discussing (ie. Usenet, bulletin boards), not blogging about one's your life in LiveJournal. I didn't have a say in OhI's layout or design; I was only there to provide article content.

I'm having trouble trying to list OhI's saving graces, which is disturbing since I should be able to defend the website I helped built. Chiefly, I saw an opportunity to be creative, entertaining, and informative without being over-the-top offensive or stupid. A lot of ED articles try too hard to funny by being too long or inserting junk, and I wanted articles to be shorter and more concise. I lost enthusiasm quickly, and I only wrote five articles (which became worse and worse as I moved along). --JuniusThaddeus 00:24, 30 May 2011 (UTC)

Michaeldsuarez was my original ED username, but I decided to change it. You weren't there at the time. The Semantic MediaWiki stuff was Sherrod's idea, and it has been a part of OhInternet since Day 1. Semantic Forms are too difficult for new users to use, don't give enough leeway for deviations, and it relies on too many scripts. Wikipoints = Web 2.0, and I've made my thoughts on that clear.
