The "Grand Masquerade" is an ultimately ridiculous "Vampire" con held in New Orleans...I am not talking about a bunch of people who are coming to town to dress up and go neck biting mind you. I am talking about something MUCH worse, a bunch of gamer geeks strolling around a hotel lobby and ballroom trying to out Reaux Sham Beaux each other while wearing a Twilight t-shirt, shorts and Birkenstocks. They have an official party at some local venue so they can all commiserate in the fact that they are old enough to drink yet still play LARP games with their loser friends. Sometimes they get tricky and use dice on the bar counter to see who is the MAGE of the bar...whooo hooo!
