Věra Pohlová is one of the most notorious Czech internets phenomena. She gained notoriety for her statement which appeared in shit grade newspaper (which noone would give a fuck about before) around 1999. In a survey regarding some kind of a business affair involving the internets she said "Affairs like this just bother everybody. I'd ban all of those internets and computers." (original here) Please note that she actually did use the word internet in plural, thus unintentionally adding extra lulz.
NOTE: Rumours say all of this might be bullshit and Věra's opinion might be fucking fake.
