restoration from archive.org

sometimes it is possible to retrieve an article's source from archive.org by copying the URL of the redlink, removing the "&redlink=1" part, then change the .ch to .com and go to archive.org and see if the source has been archived. for example:

http://encyclopediadramatica.se/index.php?title=Emmalina&action=edit&redlink=1 is a redlink from the australia template.

  1. drop "&redlink=1" so you have: http://encyclopediadramatica.se/index.php?title=Emmalina&action=edit
  2. change .ch to .com so you have: http://encyclopediadramatica.com/index.php?title=Emmalina&action=edit
  3. go to http://archive.org and enter http://encyclopediadramatica.com/index.php?title=Emmalina&action=edit as shown above
  4. archive.org lists the article

how do i linked urls with equals signs in them?

using url s with the "=" sign in them is problematic in template:quote. the solution is to use a url shortener, or to replace the "=" signs in the url with: %3D, or use 1=, 2=, and 3= for the last part.

display underscore in the title
