Tarshana
Hey! | This article isn't lulz just yet, but its coverage can spark a lollercoaster. You can help by reverting people who delete shit, and vandalizing their user pages. See this article on Google? Want to add something? Join us! |
Tarshana (Sometimes Tarsh) is a modder for the Elder Scrolls series, an alleged pharmacist, and author from Ireland. Not to be confused with Giskard she first rose to prominence after a major display of USI that resulted in her suing a youtuber for creating a video in which he reviewed her mod "The Floating Market." In a supreme example of irony it would later turn out that none of the content featured in The Floating Market was actually Tarshana's original work, but was instead a compilation of several other authors. This would ignite several debates on the r/SkyrimMods subreddit with the main focus being whether or not youtubers should have the right to profit off of Modder IP
Tarshana Goes to Washington
By all accounts Tarshana had uploaded her mod and sometime between February and May, youtube sensation MxR uploaded a video showcasing The Floating Market along with several other mods. What followed can only be described as kangaroo court. Tarshana made several ludicrous claims during the entire escapade which Reddit eagerly gobbled up:

From Humble Beginnings
After setting the modding world ablaze Tarshana would go on to release several lackluster mods. Eventually she found a new safe space in the form of Bethesda's official forum where she re-branded herself as a console modder for the emerging console mod scene. She immediately found wild success with the denizens of her new kingdom, complete with her own off-brand attempt to appeal to its members. (whiskey and cookies) Her platform was one of simplicity: she had taken up modding after she lost a friend to the purple people eater and was going to give back to the community to honor her friends memory.
An Empire Built
Tarshana quickly became a common name on the Bethesda forums with what she began to call her "Divine" series of mods. Like all great works of art there would be many copycats who were swiftly sent cease and desist PM's in the form of hypothetical legal action. In a classic case of the internet is serious business Tarshana would drag the entire Bethesda community into her petty power struggles.
The Queen is Dead, Long Live the Queen
As with all great empires the sun soon began to set on Tarshana. Stories of theft and losing her cushy job as a pharmacist amidst a pending divorce meant she must resort to the one thing she promised to never do: charge for her mods under the thinly veiled mask of donations via Patreon
To this day Tarshana commands legions of the faithful who follow her every command. Any and all naysayers are completely wrong and are only trying to slander m'lady's good name.
