FA selling information about their users shopping habits

"I noticed NoScript keeps popping up a notification about blocked scripts from viglink.com whenever I go to FA. I tried going to viglink.com and what's the first line on their site? "The easiest way to monetize your content". Great.... "Create links in your blog or webpages as normal. When visitors click a link, we follow along. If a purchase is made, you earn a commission."

That's right, folks. When you follow a link on FailAffinity to something on Amazon, iTunes, NewEgg, Walmart or any other retailer online, VigLink hoovers up that data about your shopping habits and if you actually buy something, they pay Dragonqueer a commission.

The issue I see here is not the fact that FA decided to disclose their users browsing habits to a third party company for money, but that they went against their own ToS secretly, and when found out they simply repeat the mantra "We were gonna tell you about it today anyways, I promise!" and then muffle the discussion by locking the thread."

Javascript and FA

So there has been some crap going on regarding FA being exploited using java script and actually works LOL. Apparently you don't even need to hack accounts anymore just make a simple script in a misleading website which forces journals to be created or to watch users. I don't know if its still working (but its just recent) but if it does this could provide alot of fun for those who love to fuck around with the sites code. Sciggles Drama

I finally found the section on Sciggles, yet it's quite small and insignificant. Her faggotry levels beyond just that; she deserves a seperate article just for her own fat ass. Time and again she has caused notable drama and her having an article would spark even more lulz as well as more turbulence between her and Dragoneer.. MLP Rage

FA has currently changed their banner to something feachering MLP. As it stands, there is massive butt hurt and lulz going off and things seem to be escalating.

I've heard news making the rounds that five administrators have just walked out of FA's staff (four of them were people who joined from the Furocity merge and one of them was a random guy who quit for IRL reasons).
