Ruslan Yuryevich Saberov (born January 17, 1988, Moscow) is a Russian rock musician, instrumentalist, songwriter, and session musician.

Activities

Саберов Руслан[1] — барабанщик[2][3] of the Moscow punk band “C8” and “Pornofilms Group”[4], and also does solo work under the same name “Ruslan Saberov”[5] where he is the vocalist and leader of the project. The solo album Life and Death[6] was released in 2023. The musician is also popular[7] on YouTubes.

Biography

Ruslan Saberov was born on January 17 in Moscow. Since childhood he was fond of music. He studied guitar at a music school, but was always seen as a drummer[8]. In parallel, he studied drumming at the rock lyceum Krasny Khimik in Moscow. Graduated from the State University of Management in 2011. Tried himself in different musical styles from grunge and reggae to pop music.

Concert geography

The musician together with the band “C8” is a regular participant of all significant Russian rock festivals, such as “Nashestviye”, “Emmaus”, “Vozdukh”, “AiB Fest”, “Motoyaroslavets”, “KUBANA”. In 2016 with the band “S8” participated in the largest Finnish rock festival Ilosaarirock. In June 2020 with the band “C8” visited Europe again as part of the tour dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the band. The solo album “Life and Death” was recorded by one man[9], with all instruments written in the studio by Ruslan Saberov[10][11][12]. He is also the sole producer of this album.

History of the project

In 2020[13] the drummer of the band “C8” Saberov Ruslan[14][15] founded his own and eponymous project “Ruslan Saberov” The musician himself writes music, arrangements. The first studio recordings appeared only in the beginning of 2023 The musician himself is engaged in mixing and mastering of music.
