The United States Department of Justice has declared that Encyclopedia Dramatica is in violation of multiple counts of unauthorized plagiarism of photos stolen from various social media sites, excessive exposure of personal/confidential information, and promoting pornography. All of those who serve as admins and moderators of the site Encyclopedia Dramatica will be held accountable for their actions and must acknowledge that legal consequences are about to come about as a federal judge will rule in the favor for all victims that had their photos and personal information stolen. Penalties include fines up to $20,000 per set of personal information stolen from each victim, a $100 special assessment for each moderator/administrator on ED, and up to three years in federal prison. For any reason ED would feature such content that violates the United States Privacy Act, those have absolutely no right to perform forgery of anyone's privacy or personal information. |
