Deadpool

Deadpool is the name of a popular Marvel Comics character created by Rob Liefeld, a hapless cartoon fan turned artist/writer/whatever who suffers from Same Face Syndrome. DP had his mouth sewn shut (not a bad idea!) and was killed at the end of the 2009 fantastic Wolverine movie. However, that Deadpool was completely different from the comic book version of himself, something his fans found perfectly acceptable and even commented that this reimagined version was immensely better than the original comic version of Deadpool. OMGWTFBBQ!

Deadpool, the comic book character, is known for breaking the fourth wall by speaking to readers and commenting sarcastically on the Marvel universe in general. Amazingly enough, Deadpool actually can be funny and his twisted sense of humor has made him popular across /b/ and 4chan in general, mainly because he is what Legi0n used to be: crazed, incredibly violent, misogynistic and nigh-indestructible. Ryan Reynolds, who played Deadpool in the Wolverine movie, returned to his role in (two and counting!) standalone Deadpool films, in 2016 and 2018, which completely ignored everything that happened to Deadpool in the Wolverine movie. Even so, butthurt fanboys bitched and moaned about how HE'S NOT BEING DONE RIGHT AGAIN!!!1!1!111!1

how Deadpool should always be portrayed, with his dick being rammed into something

The Gay Meme

In the spirit of the Transformers FIRRIB and other internet homosexuality that can only come from the astute minds of basement dwelling man children who feel threatened if the uninitiated don't understand their nerd culture; we have been awarded these words of wisdom that should serve as a reminder to anyone who cares who came first or who was ripped off of whom:

Slade Wilson taught Wade Wilson to do the Deathstroke in the Deadpool

—Nerds

You see, Slade Wilson or Deathstroke is the original character because he has the more active role. Deathstroke first appeared in a Teen Titans comic in 1980, while Deadpool (Wade Wilson) first appeared in a Marvel title in 1991 -- ELEVEN YEARS LATER. Deathstroke is the teacher, suggesting Deadpool is the copy because DP is taking the passive role. DP started as a ripoff (or "homage" if the lawsuit fails) of a DC character. None of this who-was-first shit matters, the point is that basement-dwelling fat retards all over the world were butthurt that their precious Liefeld whoreboy was "co-opted" by Ryan "The Smallprick" Reynolds and Fox, and made sort of actually "entertaining". Liefeld is like a low-rent Frank Miller anyway.

Liefeld, a fan of the Teen Titans comics, showed his new character to then-writer Fabian Nicieza. Upon seeing the costume and noting his characteristics (killer with super agility), Nicieza contacted Liefeld, saying "this is Deathstroke from Teen Titans". Nicieza gave Deadpool the real name of "Wade Wilson" as an inside-joke to being "related" to "Slade Wilson", Deathstroke.[16]

Fuck this, I'm getting drunk for having to legitimize this tribble by writing it down.
