  • I moved his section from GamerGate/POTM into this article and added a "See Also" section... but this thing could stand to be a lot better. oddguy 04:36, 16 February 2015 (EST)

For one, Google Chrome put a red line under the word "misandry" because it's not a real thing. Sexism is institutional power and privilege being used to oppress a non-dominant group. Of course, a man like Yiannopoulos is oblivious to this and tries to mansplain the advent of female Thor. In the problematic column, he writes (TW: misogyny), "It’s hard to believe the most macho, overtly masculine character in the comic canon could possibly be reimagined as a broad. But that’s almost certainly precisely the reason Thor was chosen: as a fuck-you to so-called nerdbros from the achingly progressive staff of today’s comic book establishment." Broad?! What is this to him, a game to see how much blatant misogyny he can get away with on the internet? (Thanks to sites like 4chan and ED, it's unfortunately quite a bit.) And traditional "macho" masculinity is so outdated, like who would ever identify with that? Thank Jezebel for female Thor, a welcome breath of diversity that bucks the trend of shoehorning.

  • Did fucking Anita Sarkeesian write this article? what the holy ever-loving fuck is this bullshit?--Mantequilla (talk) 22:43, 17 February 2015 (EST)
  • Ok I get this is trolling but it is too deadpan, there needs to be something to signify that it is not serious. Poe's law and such. --Mantequilla (talk) 23:17, 17 February 2015 (EST)
Article induced rage means the article works. As a purported compendium of troll lore, offense is half the battle. —  VX  23:59, 17 February 2015 (EST)
Huh, a single purpose account wrote this shit. It's not a very smart one either.
You know what Slaughter Games is? A red/black Magic card. You know who wrote this article? A radical feminist sympathizer with a bone to pick against GamerGate and chan culture. Put this together and we have a feminist sympathizer that plays black in MtG and hates GamerGate and chan culture. I aint saying anything about who may or may not have wrote it, but some faggot by the name of  zennistrad is a perfect match. Adolph-in Hitler needs an army! This Article

So... basically this article is accusing the guy of being a troll... and then calling him names. Seems pretty simple to me. Look into his trolling efforts and then shift the perspective to promote and play off those trolls while further belittling his intended targets for getting overly ass mad as a result of said trolls.

For maximum lulz/drama potential I would also then lock/protect the article to prevent anyone from editing it... trust me, that'll REALLY make them infuriated! :D

Seems to me you had a chance to suggest dictate policy, and it didn't end well. Food for thought. —  VX  00:47, 18 February 2015 (EST)
Actually it ended VERY well... otherwise I wouldn't be editing again (provided it doesn't start becoming a problem again). I wasn't actually even sure if it would work to be honest... in fact it wasn't working until I took more... direct approach. Thankfully you kids aren't that hard to infuriate, although it still took around eight months of concerted effort once the "problem" became apparent. The "problem" stopped within a few weeks of your uh... breaking point, so to speak. LOL
I'll be sure and let you know if I further require your use as a pawn though.  :)
--U Mad Bro 01:09, 18 February 2015 (EST)
I have no problem with you editing, you just had issues with abusing authority when given to you. Too many complaints in my inbox for me to care to deal with. I always thought you were a good editor, which was why I gave you sysop in the first place even with your "past" concerning ED on the old wiki. I think you are a decent writer and you are really good at general wiki maintenance, plus you make other people sperg sometimes which makes me lol.
I wouldn't say I abused authority. I prevented people who were overly ass angry on the forums from editing a particular article because it made them even MORE infuriated. It was funny. No, it was downright hilarious actually. I inflicted a level of emotional instability so deeply gutting that when they finally got the chance to actually edit the article they pretty well destroyed it beyond measure... which was honestly pretty God damn hilarious as well. Granted I can't get anyone to take it seriously anymore, but it was still worth it. Plus it directly solved the other problems that were occurring when really fucking stupid (dead) people ('s parents) from Europe thought I was the owner of the site. --U Mad Bro 05:48, 18 February 2015 (EST)
As for this article I get that it is a troll but it seems too genuine, there is no sarcasm or other indicators to let people know that it is not for real. It took me reading it a few times for me to even get it and I have been doing this for 8 years now. If it could be edited to be a bit more snarky it would be perfect. --Mantequilla (talk) 02:16, 18 February 2015 (EST)
No, no, I didn't mean the article was a troll, I mean the article is about a troll. The article as it stands is an actual genuine attempt by SJWs at seeking revenge against someone who royally riled them all up and made their hemorrhoid inflamed hienies hotter than a whore house on nickel night. Which I suppose is nice for them, makes them feel better... but uh, pointless. A revenge article against a troll generally won't bother the troll... at all. The only point and purpose it serves is to allow angry people to let off steam... and that equates to fewer lulz. Although I guess it can be argued that, that's not always a bad thing, I mean I accidentally pushed this one lady (whose kid committed suicide) so far over the edge here recently that she started openly encouraging people to kill themselves... like, seriously, really trying to get depressed people to kill themselves and going on about how it "takes guts" to kill yourself and that only truly STRONG people can manage to sum up the courage to... yeeaaah... sometimes you can go too far. --U Mad Bro 05:48, 18 February 2015 (EST)
This dude knows how to push people's buttons and carry on a good razzing. I've had fun with him so far. Just look at how many users are still insulting his former persona out of genuine butthurt, VX here being one of them.
Oh, and uh, he writes and edits good too. Vermin   02:47, 18 February 2015 (EST)
  • I'll work on it a bit later today. I don't mind the SJW angle. But this just isn't good writing. oddguy 04:39, 18 February 2015 (EST)
  • Damn it... I'm trying to find a tweet of his from a few days ago about how watching GamerGate making fun of liberals brings him pride and I think he deleted it... It would have been super useful. oddguy 13:28, 18 February 2015 (EST)

Workstation

  • Putting this here for a while until I decide what to do with it. oddguy 14:11, 18 February 2015 (EST)

Alright, done.

  • Rewrote pretty much the entire thing. oddguy 17:13, 18 February 2015 (EST)
Well, at least it reads like an ED article now. I don't think it's going to have much impact at all as far as lulz though... I mean, unless the guy is just in serious fucking denial about his bandwagon hijacking hijinks to hawk his political propaganda and money making machinations he generally won't give a shit... in fact there's a very good chance that he actually wrote the original article himself. To sleaze ball money makers like that there's no such thing as "bad publicity". --U Mad Bro 18:40, 18 February 2015 (EST)
I second that. Not the part about him giving a shit about this article or not, the part about the lulz impact. So this guy is gay, balding, hates trannies, praised ED, and latched himself onto GamerGate in order to get attention for profit, and now here it is. Neat. Still a good rewrite though.
And the "feminist" version doesn't read like it was written by an SJW, it reads like it was written on the premise of someone being personally offended by his comments about trannies. I get that it was a joke though. Vermin     11:52, 20 February 2015 (EST)

guy who made this says it was a joke.

  • He isn't an SJW. He was just being funny. Honestly, I think his version was better.
Either way, can't wait for 8chan to start calling us shills lol. oddguy 11:36, 20 February 2015 (EST)

will fuck him up later

He likes to source ED but he's not fond of giving credit to ED. This is a reminder to myself as much as anyone, he's a famewhoring faggot. That would be fine if he credits ED for his "hard hitting journalism," but he doesn't. —  VX  11:00, 20 October 2015 (EDT)
