Wanted Level is a crappy, overused meme found on Encyclopædia Dramatica. It is commonly used on articles about a well known criminal, usually a mass shooter or terrorist, as a descriptor of the extent to which said individual is wanted by the police. It is originally derived from video games of the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) series, especially GTA: San Andreas, where as you commit more and more murders, you get an ever increasing number of "wanted stars", each one causing a new level of law enforcement to come out to kill you, only to be completely dumbfounded when you hide behind a tree for five minutes or go into your house to hit the save icon.

In real life, of course, hiding behind a tree, in a house or under a boat is not an effective way of escaping police/military, as Dzhokar Tsarnaev and Osama Bin Laden found out the hard way. The section below breaks down wanted level into different categories, and provides divers and sundry throwaway templates for each one that you can lazily copy paste into your next crappy mass shooting article like the faggot you are.
