What they organizers of the Occupy Wall Street protests seek is a total collapse of not only OUR economic system, but collapse of the entire worldwide economic system. This is why they are trying to make these protests spread all over the world...and are succeeding to some extent. The violence going on in Europe, the same violence that has been going on for months, is not here yet. It will be...probably by next Spring/Summer if not sooner. I'm not sure how the protests will survive the Winter...but, if they do, look out.
If you think that collapsing the economic system of the United States sounds like a good idea, you're nuttier than I thought. LOL Don't worry..."nuts" is good. I'm nuts, too. :)
Collapse of MONEY = "MONEY" actually MEANS NOTHING...it's not just a cute little soundbite in a presidential debate (no matter what truth it is rooted in). What happens after just 3 days of people not having ANY money? Total and complete anarchy, disaster, rioting, looting, beatings, murders, vigilante justice...and a police state or WORSE (internment camps, re-education camps) WILL BE the result. After a few days/weeks/months of this what do you think will be the result achieved? Millions of people will be dead...within only a few MONTHS. TENS of millions of people will be dead from starvation, violence &/or exposure to the elements in the USA and possibly more than a billion of this spreads across the globe, as is the stated goal of the "organizers" of these protests: "spread across the globe." Why is it that progressives ALWAYS, without exception, have to either imprison or KILL people to get their way? (Just for the record, in this context, for this response to you, when I say "progressives" I include communists, socialists, Marxists, Maoists, enviroloons, & the leftist version of feminists in my one-word description of "progressives.")
ALL of these groups of people (as listed above), and more, with other agendas, are participating in these Wall Street protests. If they protest the banks, big government and the bailouts SO MUCH, one would think that they would have joined the TEA Parties over the last few years. You might ask yourself why they didn't. I'll answer: Because it was never the goal of the TEA Party to bring about the collapse of the United States from within, as it is with these protesters on Wall Street. The TEA Party has championed LESS government intrusion in our lives from day one. These OWS protests, if successful, will achieve EXACTLY the opposite. You think BO won't "take-over" this country? You think he won't become an instant dictator...and, not just be "called" one by the right? He OR someone else, after he is murdered, will be anointed by the FREAKS to rule them. And, they still won't be happy.....because no one in a communist, socialist, Marxist, Maoist-type society is. They're just closer to the end of their life as those of us that are "free" are.
Is our current system perfect? No.
Should the crooks be prosecuted? Absolutely.
Is there any plans by anyone in authority to prosecute these banking/lending/lying crooks? Not that I've seen.
Were the bailouts wrong? Yes. Failure is the best lesson........when millions of people won't die from it.
Was the original intent of the bailouts to really help PEOPLE? No. They were to protect corporations that suck the balls of the powerful politicos (and vice versa).
Is our society on the verge of collapse? Absolutely.
Have progressives been planning this for the past 100 years? Yes. (Others say 60+ yrs...I say 100 yrs...since Woodrow Wilson was Pres.)
Have progressives infiltrated & attempted to destroy every segment of our once solid society? Yes. Hopefully you'll reconsider which "side" you are on.
