A Goofy Newfie is a Canadian from the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Unlike other Canadians, Newfies stand oot from the other North Americunts you like to laugh aboot because of their accent.

Phil Bate imitates a Newfie accent, changing "ow" and "ou" to "oo" in his tweets whenever they're pronoonced like the "ow" in brown or the "ou" in out, because it's the only way he knows to stand oot from the crood.
