- We need to add more stuff to this article. Make to AOTN worthy since it's a recent event. Need to get this done before it grows stale... I'm drawing a blank. oddguy 14:16, 3 December 2013 (EST)
I'm just going to leave this here...
Toaster Steve is a nobody from Canada who was going to college because he had nothing else to do. While looking at his Facebook account, one gets the impression that something isn't quite right. In every picture, our brave hero almost pops out of the picture, almost a little too much. As if he is empty inside and begging for all the attention he can get. Besides being an attention whore, his hair stands up in a way that screams, "Look at me everyone I'm special." Counting the number of so called friends he has on Facebook confirms suspicions LOLdoge is willing to do anything for attention while he slowly dies inside. Naturally, he did what any reasonable person would do to forget about his pain for a while. Spend time on the Internet, not only Facebook but also the /b/ imageboard where he could be around others just like him. It isn't clear if he frequently /b/ on a regular basis but he did know it was a great place for attention seekers. So while smiling on the outside he announced to the armpit of the Internet that he was going to kill himself. Demonstrating what a weakling he is, his method of self termination was drinking vodka, overdosing on pills and starting a fire with a toaster. He showed less backbone then a woman who just slit her wrist in hopes some guy would find her and give a damn. By now, anyone who frequents /b/ with any kind of regularity was already getting bored. Even so, people trampled over each other to get a front-row seat of the action (or lack of) on webcam. In what may be the only trolling he's ever accomplished, the number of viewers were limited to 200. Idiots from other 4chan boards wondered what the commotion about and began posting their questions on /b/ while the threads remained undeleted by the exemplary staff. Perhaps the detected an impending epic fail on the horizon and found something else to do. As his pathetic suicide attempt got duller by the moment, everyone held out hope as smoke filled the room. Possibly he had a semi-automatic under his bed and would deliver an action packed finale when firefighters kicked in his door. Those still awake and yawning tried to get Toaster Steve's stupid grin and hairdo out of their mind as he typed last words nobody cared about. Most were stretching and looking at their watches when firefighters arrived to rescue the damsel in distress. Maybe this was his goal all along, his fragile body being held in the arms of a masculine firefighter, sweating from all the heat caused by the fire. Obvious publicity stunts provide more entertainment, LOLdoge didn't even take enough pills go finish the job. Still, the Internet is already holding in anticipation for Toaster Steve 2: Electric Boogaloo. In this action packed sequel Stephen (no wonder he wanted to kill himself.) take up weightlifting, acquires some awesome weapons. Audiences will sit on the edge of their seats as Stephen (LOL) sets out to active all-time high score, finally proving to the Internet he isn't a girly faggot.
So yeah, that's a draft and probably a lame attempt. I'm getting ready for bed now. My apologies for not finishing Onideus but maybe someone can salvage some of the above. 15:25, 3 December 2013 (EST)
- Instead of telling his story I'd go with an attention whore angle. Like, Attention Whoring 101: A Guide to 4chan Infamy. His 15 minutes are already up, the consequences of his actions are now funnier than his pathetic failed suicide attempt. Uberfukken 15:39, 3 December 2013 (EST)
- Yeah, if he died it would have been pretty epic. But since he survived this is kindda lame. oddguy 15:46, 3 December 2013 (EST)
- If you check his facebook he's reveling in the spotlight. At this point he doesn't deserve any praise. Uberfukken 15:49, 3 December 2013 (EST)
- These last couple days I've been busy. So while I was able to grab some content, that was mindless stuff. I've not had a chance to do any kind of search. Again oddguy sorry I didn't get to finish with Onideus. If you see lulz then could you spam all of it onto this talk page? Normally if (like never) I am going to write about something, I research the subject for at least a couple days. By then this is going to be old news. Either way, we're a team and collaboration is good. Also I'm drinking so maybe that will help. 15:54, 3 December 2013 (EST)

- it does not seem to work for me. XP Pro, Chrome "Version 31.0.1650.57 m" and Firefox v "25.0.1" and IE8. the odd thing is that it's been like this for over a year for Chrome, and Firefox used to work. i just can't see non-google (youtube) embeds in chrome or Firefox or IE8. -hipcrime 06:00, 4 December 2013 (EST)

Odd discrepancy between article title and page title
The article is called Toaster Steve, and that is what shows up as the title. But in Firefox's header and in the tab for this page it says "Dakota J. Moore". Here is what I'm talking about: [2] Theleft[ talk page is "Talk:Toaster Steve", though. Is there any way to fix this? ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD 13:36, 7 December 2013 (EST)
- It's like that on purpose.--Mantequilla (talk) 14:08, 7 December 2013 (EST)
- that's some seo to help people find our article whether they search for "toaster steve" or for "Dakota Moore". title alias is an extremely useful field especially if one is trying to spread the word about abusive Wikipedians and their embarrassing photos. -hipcrime 04:01, 8 December 2013 (EST)
