ED is not Wikipedia

• You're a new user here so you might not know this, but people don't come to ED for a factual rundown of events. We are a comedy site and we document drama. So if someone, for example, writes a journal on DA where he make a homophobic comment and people criticize him for it, you might write something on wikipedia such as: "XXXX made arguably homophobic comments on his DA journal and was heavily criticized for it", whereas we might say something like: "XXXX is a giant bigot who said he hates fags".

My point is: This is not wikipedia. If you have never used this site before and you don't know what it is about than don't edit articles because it will all just get reverted. oddguy 05:08, 8 October 2014 (EDT)

I edited it because a lot of it was old and redundant. There were two sections that said the same thing but differently worded, the rules sound like something someone from /b/ came up with, and most of the boards listed don't exist anymore. Mneln 06:08, 8 October 2014 (EDT)
