The Furry community of Second Life is so ridiculous and stupid, it really needs it's own page alone. Finding out all you need to know about Furries on second life will no longer be spread out in small sections across this site, but rather in one solid article. Everything you need to know.

Furries on Second Life are of the worst kinds imaginable. From their "modding skills" to their RP, they are some of the least level headed and insecure people of the furry community. High class furries on FA even turn their head in shame to the dreaded Second Life population.

Types of Furries

Second life offers many different types of furries, from herms to hyperfurs, to just regular neko loli girls. Understanding the difference in furries is a key essential to fitting in.

Male Furries

Male furries are the most common of all furries, as no girl could actually figure this shitty program out. Males are often seen as two types, Gay/Bi/Trans/Queer/Flexible/Pan/Etc or Straight. The former of the two is very welcomed and is accepted by many, while the latter has fewer options in terms of fitting in.

Gay/Bi/Trans/Queer/Flexible/Pan/Etc or let's just call them GAY, cause seriously what's the fucking difference, are welcomed in many different shapes and sizes. From tall and muscular to tiny and skinny. No matter what flavor of gay you are, you will be at least one person's gay fetish. As you are not straight, it is customary and acceptable for you to sleep with as many people as you want, whenever you want, and you will never be shunned, as long as they are men. You must also hit on EVERY man you see, including the "straight ones" because telling them how much you wanna fuck their ass enough will probably convert them. Herms is a general term used to describe any gender aside from male and female. Any way you slice it, these are Males IRL. Even more proof that herms are nothing but insecure males is they will NEVER speak on voice, show 1st life irl picks, or provide any info that might "out" their gender. There are many ways to spotting a Male IRL on second life, whether it be a herm, or female avatar.

Spotting a Male IRL on Second Life

Male IRLs are everywhere. There are numerous ways to detect a Male IRL.

1. Male avatar. (Females would never).
2. Identifies as a dominant. There is no such thing as a dominant female who is interested in dominating males. Dominatrixes are lesbian only, therefore any herm or female identifying as dominant is a Male IRL. Testosterone is what fuels dominant sexual instincts, not estrogen.
3. Has any breast size other than C's or D's. Basically flat chested and LARGE tits insists Male IRL as they are actually *fetishes*, which females don't have. That, and most females are pretty realistic and aren't obnoxious about breast sizes.
4. Nude/privates showing. Players who are showing off their tits and or vag are one of two things - submissive females following their daddydom's orders, or Males IRL who are DTF and looking for action. 7. Incest Couples. Takes two or more to spot, and are usually female. If you ever see a lesbian couple, at least one of them is a Male IRL. Incest Mommies are always played by Males IRL as no female is actually into incest (aside from daddy/daughter). Sisters are also Males IRL.
8. Does not list Gender of f-list. A lot of furries will leave a link to their f-list in their profile. A good way to check if one is a Male IRL is to browse the f-list to see if any gender is listed. If a female truly took the time to create an f-list surely she'd also include her gender. The only reason a Male IRL wouldn't is to hide the fact he is a Male IRL.
9. Lesbian. There are no such thing as Lesbians. The very idea is merely an invention of the porn industry only, and therefore something the male mind has created. Any female or herm identifying as lesbian is actually a Male IRL.
10. Transgender. Any kind of transgender whether it be MtF or FtM is a Male IRL. Yes, even post op they are Male IRL. Biogenetic proof exists in our chromosomes. Female is XX and Male is XY, meaning if a female was born in a man's body (lol), despite a genderswap would still contain the XY chromosome, and therefore a male mentality. A female is born with XX but becomes a man, adds the Y, making it XY. So basically, every transgender has the chromosomes XY, making them all Male IRL.

Clubs

Furries on Second Life most commonly congregate in clubs, often fitted with stripper poles, a bar, a dance floor and dj booth, and most importantly, staff who do their job VERY well. Many of these clubs have their own social hierarchies that changes about every week (almost 10 years in furry time). At clubs, you can meet all kinds of furries. Many of which will want to yiff you, but have learned to disguise their intensions by IMing you with "Hi" and "How are you?" before asking to Yiff, as it ensures a response out of the female before determining if they are dtf.

IYC

AKA the International Yiff Center is the most popular furry club on SL. It is also the most "high brow" as IYC is only populated by the most sophisticated of yiffy furries. Reputation is very important as IYC, as well as constantly bending over for the staff. Social hierarchies pretty much extend from the staff at this club, with the main drivers being:

Digi Scratch: A "straight male" whose totes ok. Often Yiffs with women in IMs and will ensure if he doesn't like you, then no staff with like you. He hangs out at Yiff Spot when not on duty, where he is revealed to be yet another furry seeking the sex, despite his high class suit wearing rep at IYC. He is over 30 years old irl and a virgin (see 1st life pic for proof). As he's a straight male, he is therefore required by furry law to lack any personality whatsoever, but immediately become an Internet Tough Guy when someone attempts to have fun. He also aggressively denounces other straight males that decide to visit, viewing them as fierce competition as he tries to score with every female he can get his greasy hands on.

Nikki Narcotica: A taken women who will not Yiff you unless you pay her your entire week's paycheck, and even then her RP sucks. She is an "escourt" at IYC, as well as a "manager." Basically meaning if you get on her bad side, or flirt with her then you will be outcasted. She always appears as a tall thin female with very large breasts, and loves when you click them. She makes it seem like she has a lot of friends by inviting her groupies to dance in a line with her when she "DJs." She is also notorious for winning every contest ever at IYC, simply due to the fact that patrons feel that voting for her will increase the likelyhood of getting laid.

Voice is now disabled at IYC in order to reduce the amount of fun to be had. IYC views fun as "immature" and being as they are a HIGH CLASS ESTABLISHMENT... of furry sex, voice is now permabanned. The use of bumpers is also frowned upon, but only a male will be warned, as females are sacred and they can't afford to lose any vaginal population. (This has been tested and proven as I once made a male and female account and did the same thing with the same staff member on duty).

Fitting in at IYC is fairly simple. If you are a woman, objectify yourself as much as possible. Dance on stripper poles, dance on the dance floor, whore your bodies out for viewing pleasure. Men and women will adore you. If you are a male, the ONLY way to be socially accepted is to be a strong silent type. ONLY stand at the edge of the dancefloor, and never say ANYTHING. Being that IYC is the most sophisticated of all furry sex organizations, it's customary that everyone wears as much black and leather as possible. YIFF

The most cleverly named club, YIFF is number 2 behind IYC in terms of furry popularity, but it differs quite greatly. YIFF is a club that promotes no drama by always allowing voice, never banning people that troll others, and welcoming many more types of furs, including ageplayers (even though rules say they don't to please Linden Labs). Because YIFF is much more easy going, that means that nobody feels pressured to befriend the staff, although doing so does ensure all the free trolling you could ever want to do, as long as they find you funny. YIFF is definitely more gay than IYC, as it attracts a noticeable less amount of females, and many more gay men.

As YIFF is totally drama free by allowing anybody to come visit, this means staff don't get involved with male players who constantly IM you harassing you for sex, so be sure to do it as much so as possible. YIFF is also known for having a lot of internet tough guys that will viciously hate on anyone who is more well known or liked than them. Being that there are more gay men around, it is much more customary to walk around with one's dick out, letting the furry patrons know of your pixel genitals.

Voice chat is enabled on YIFF, essentially splitting the community between those who talk and those who don't talk. Furries that use voice are definitely the most popular, as they are the most recognized, however this also means they become annoying quickly. As it goes, a furry will get on voice, everybody will give them a fair shot, they will get annoying over time and then will be hated on, causing them to quit forever. Furries who don't use voice are left in the shadows, silently dancing to the talented DJs.

Griefing YIFF is fairly easy. All you need are a lot of particles and preferably loud gestures. You can also idle with your television on in the background, with mic left on. People will get angry with you, but you won't get banned as only two staff members eject people and they aren't always on. The sim gets griefed about twice a day, causing the sim to crash and everyone to GET REALLY ANGRY in the group chat saying how trolls are faggots and blaming their targecy on the fact they are furries.

ARK

Another shitty club that no one goes to, despite it always having people there for no reason.

GYC

A Gay ITC. All gay men in all gay sizes. Although they are entirely gay, they ADORE women when they come, converting back to straight men in order to try and get with her while they have the opportunity.

Yiff Spot

This is the shittiest club of all. For one it's tiny, meaning you are forced to stand RIGHT UP AGAINST each other, and everyone there are dicks. Yiff Spot is known for having an ALL MALE population, playing males, herms, and shemales. Yiff Spot is also where all the hyperfurs and herms congregate on secondlife. All of the crazy fetish furries come here. It's also very important that you DO NOT show any interest in sex here or else you will be shunned, unless you are a woman, in which you will be glorified!
