Cephaloped AKA Daniel Woodward Heath is a member of the GirlChat forums. He continues to post on the site frequently even after being convicted as a Sex Offender in the state of Ohio. Here is his criminal charge: Illegal Use of a Minor in a Nudity-Oriented Material or Performance.
More disturbing are his constant and frequent discussions of how he attends church and church-related events and activities for the sole purpose of looking at and being around little girls; he constantly shares that information with the pedophiles on the Web site and then describes vivid accounts of seeing their panties and he’ll mention how he "sexualizes" them.

Even though this pedophile is a convicted RSO and mentions how depressed he is (many times), he continues to draw support from other pedophiles – people who only encourage these sexual feelings and behaviors.
Really depressed
Feeling very depressed and sorry for myself today, and you are the only folks who will understand because it has to do with my attraction to LGs.
Sometimes I am able simply to delight in the beauty of little girls, and I'm ok. Other times, however, I feel terrible, guilty, conflicted, etc. about it. I know I can never act on my feelings because I'd get locked up for it, and the girl would be traumatized. Non-peds say that any intergenerational sexual activity is harmful to the child. That may ormay not be true, but even if it isn't the child would be traumatized by the big deal people make over it afterwards. I've also been conditioned to feel guilty for even feeling attracted to children, even if I never act on it. I'm sorry, but I can't help it--I just am attracted to LGs.
Several years ago I looked at nude pictures of LGs, got caught and convicted, and did some time in prison. Then I was on parole, and even though I'm now off parole, I still have to register as an SO, and my record will always be there. It's hard to find a place to live. It's really hard to get a decent job. I've lost friends, and even some of my family don't talk to me any more. I watch the news and almost every day there's something about an SO getting caught, or new laws being passed (that apply retroactively!), etc. I feel terribly isolated and shunned by society.
I look at a little girl and her cuteness makes me want to smile. And yet I hurt because this attraction has practically ruined my life
But as mentioned before, regardless of what has happened he continues to write and share his experiences with LGs and talk about his attractions:

The cutest little girl came into my place of business today with her father. Maybe 5 or 6 years old, long blond hair, pink shirt, and shorts (great legs!! ). She had the most adorable smile, and my boss gave her a quarter for a gumball.

Last Sunday I was at church. A LG was sitting on a staircase. She was wearing a dress and not being too careful, and I got *ahem* (blush, blush) a very interesting view of things. Let's just say it's a good thing she was wearing pretty little white cotton panties... ;) Just a glimpse, but it was nice while it lasted.
Our Investigation
The following are steps we took to connect the pedophile screen name "Cephaloped" with the real name of Daniel Woodward Heath:
- We first noticed "Cephaloped" posting on GirlChat's Website in 2005.
- In 2007, we noticed Cephaloped discussing his legal matters. He mentioned receiving a letter informing him that his offender classification and registration requirements are being changed in accordance with the Adam Walsh Act. We did some research on the new registration requirements and we found that Ohio enacted that new law around the time he posted about it.
- Next, he mentioned attending certain events and churches he lives near on GirlChat; we coupled that with the above information and deduced that he was in the state of Ohio.
- He also specifically mentioned living closely to a university on two different occasions, narrowing down our search even further to the Columbus, Ohio area.
- We then took note when he revealed his charge and conviction information of "illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material or performance."
- Using all of the above information, we utilized a Sex Offender registry. We were able to locate two individuals in the Columbus, Ohio area who matched the charges Cephaloped mentioned; however because Cephaloped mentioned that his wife had passed away 2006 (see Additional Quotes), we were able to narrow it down to Daniel W. Heath as the pedophile posting on GirlChat because obituary records and news articles proved that his wife Keena Heath died on July 5, 2006 in her home.
- Further confirmation came when we were able to match his court information with his GirlChat posts; basically, every time Cephaloped was having a court date or hearing he mentioned it on the forums and we were able to match that information with Ohio court documents and records for Daniel W. Heath.

Well, I find little girls and cephalopods to be fascinating. In veeery different ways, of course! Really, I just wanted an already-existing word to throw 'ped' into, and cephalopod worked quite well (especially since they are interesting to me, in a scientific sort of way)
Also, cephalo- comes from the Greek kephale, which means 'head.' They say sex is in the brain. I half agree with that. Much of our sexuality involves our thinking patterns. However, there are very definitely physiological elements to it, IMO. In any case, I like using the term 'head' in my nick because it reminds me that even though I feel sexually attracted to little girls, I do not have to act on that attraction. I can use my brain to do the right thing (i.e. not molest children or do anything else illegal). So, my nick is sort of a personal reminder, as well as a little play on words.

but my little crash yesterday seems to have been triggered by a pretty good afternoon. A family at church had me over for dinner. They have six kids, the oldest being a 13yo boy, the rest girls ranging from 11yo down to about 18 months. Very beautiful girls. :D The kindergartner even decided (completely on her own) to sing a song for me! It was adorable.
However, the whole thing just served to remind me of how much I love children and that, well, I don't have children, and am unlikely ever to have any. And on the rare occasion when I get to spend a little time with kids, it only lasts a short time. After getting home these thoughts kept going through my mind, combined with how my life has been screwed over because of my "offense," I can't get a decent job, I have to register, etc., etc.
Argghhh!! >:(
Went to a church-sponsored Memorial Day picnic today. I was afraid it was going to rain, but thankfully it didn't, and it didn't get too hot, either. Had some good food, talked with some friends, and watched the LGs. They were so cute! Just wished I could have stared more, but that would have attracted unwelcome attention.
Saw a couple of F-18s fly over the parade, too, which was cool. :)
Until recently (and by chance), they always sat in the row immediately in front of me. Then, a couple of weeks ago, the family that used to sit in front of them came in earlier and sat in their spot, so the family with the LG moved forward a row--they essentially changed places. I happen to know that the family who inserted themselves into the other family's place knows about my attraction to LGs, so I have to wonder if they made that move on purpose, in order to move the LG farther away from me. Now, I've never "done" anything with an LG anybody would consider improper, nor would I do so, but people tend to assume. At least they were subtle about it, don't make a fuss about my being there, and are polite to me. (Plus, they have a rather attractive teenaged daughter! The other family's LG is cuter, but I won't complain about the teen, and can still see the little one, just a few feet farther away (It's not as though I was bouncing her on my knee, talking or playing with her, anyway.):))
