You should be able to still see them (the updates take about 24 hours to take effect). Basically if there's a URL in the image...take it off. Either by cropping or by using the clone tool in a graphic editor. It's not our job to promote other sites (especially sites like 9gag). --Onideus 17:09, 11 June 2013 (EDT)

I was a bit confused because the images appeared to be identical. When you said spam tags that had me looking for some kind of meta data. So I set the width of the image above to 300px to generate a new thumbnail and can see the difference. Personally I don't care but it doesn't hurt to remove the spam tags. It doesn't appear this is mentioned in ED Policy but I suspect the general consensus would be to remove the spam tags. Would you like to type something up or should I do it? For the record, if an image is really large, I try to scale them down. Greatly appreciated, 17:25, 11 June 2013 (EDT)

It's in there now, I just added a section. Hrmmm...there was something else semi-important I was supposed to add to that page... *ponders* ...oh well, I'm sure it'll come to me eventually.
