Origin

I seriously hope you guys don't do this, ISHYGDDT or >2011 >still doing... ect is a way of starting a thread that is akin to the Prove me wrong threads on b.

As is usually the case it all began with a self-important tripfag posting his unfunny bullshit over and over again to create a forced meme. In this particular incident it was started by a tripfag known as "Quentin" who posted some sort of ambiguous statement on v that would undoubtedly start a giant flamewar, and saying "I seriously hope you guys don't do this", usually accompanied by a particular discerning picture of Pete Campbell from Mad Men, then sit back, and watch the fireworks.

This "meme" then progressed within boards such as co and /mu/ where people adopted the >implying brilliance of saying >2011 >still doing... ect. It is rumored to have began on /mu/ where people would spam dubstep threads by posting >2011 >still listening to dubstep, setting the fuse for a huge butthurt ragebomb, that could never be justified because it has now been scientifically proven that dubstep is, in fact, shit.

It is now often posted simply with a given implying statement and "I seriously hope you guys don't do this" with a picture of George Costanza, in his often used pose. One particularly large thread was created with this costanza image used at regular intervals, concerning the subject of whether or whether not to put your ketchup in the fridge, this farted out a type of sub-meme that revolves around the OP suggesting that people putting things anywhere else than the fridge as ludicrous. These forms of threads is considered hideous cancer by the rulefags of /v/, as it diverts from the vidya and rage they love and adore, so they see the only known cure is to SAGE the living fuck out of it.

The costanza picture itself has it's own history on 4chan and has been used for various other ventures, a common reaction face, and has spawned many different forms through the blank exploitable template not dissimilar to Eddy, Handsome Face and Ainsley Harriott.

Quentin Himself

Quentin is a pseudo-intellectual tripfag who peruses various boards on 4chan, spreading his unimportant opinions over anyone who'll listen. Which is usually no-one. He has a tendency to make shitty comics so as to easily inject all of his autistic views into the large anonymous membrane, which always result in badly made cut and paste shitfests that rot both the eye and brain. If said comic is about a specific bullshit opinion that has gently floated out of his anus, it will undoubtedly adopt the I am silly! formula.

He is mainly known and hated for his controversial views on marowhuanna, often creating threads about it, which is the equivalent of sticking your testicles into a shark tank, as 4chan is almost entirely made up of dirty jobless hippies. It is often suggested that Quentin is simply a well executed troll as his views often piss off great quantities of people to lulzy extents, and the emblem he often portrays himself as is a particularly self-satisfied image of Matthew Goode from Snatchmen, which seems to be purposefully placed to produce moar rage from unsuspecting victims.
