I would love to see it shut down. I don't want to go and see another child has killed themselves because of bullying on ask.

Ask me a question

ask.fm is the new Formspring. It allows people to anonymously ask you questions. It's basically used for trolling. It's major demographic is attention-seeking 12 year old girls. Every answer posted on Ask.fm is public, and you also have the option to post answered questions to Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.

Harassment

The website really doesn't have a harassment policy because it was made for harassment. That said, after some high-profile suicides, next to every answer and profile, there are options to report and block users.

That being said, hanging yourself is always the best option.

Suicides

A source at the Sun, which on Wednesday described ask.fm as a "suicide site", told the BBC it would cancel the advertising package which saw an advert for the paper's new online service appear on the site. It had said the men behind ask.fm were "troll kings" on its front page.

Hannah Smith

Did it fgt.

Hannah Smith, an English attention seeker, was fed up with all the hate she was recieving on her Ask.fm, so she decided to kill herself. Her parents called for greater regulation of the site or it's complete shutdown. It was later revealed that she sent herself at least 100 of the messages thought to have contributed to her suicide.
