/q/
This article needs moar content. You can help by adding moar content. |
/q/ was a board on 4chan for discussion of 4chan itself, and suggestions. Launched in August of 2012[1], up until its' closure in September of 2013 it served as a central hub for meta-4chan discussion, shitposting outside of /b/, and bickering about why mods banned you.
Every thread
Unlike most boards, /q/ had an extremely large amount of complaining faggots and autists. Enough to rival the likes of /mlp/. Every thread consisted of one of the following:
- GET RID OF /pol/
- GET RID OF /mlp/
- GET RID OF /jp/
- GET RID OF /v/
- GET RID OF /b/
- GET RID OF /vp/
- GET RID OF 4CHAN!!!!!11!!!
- PEOPLE ARE POSTING THINGS I DON'T LIKE ON MY BOARD
- SOMEONE CALLED ME "EDGY"
- THERE'S A SHITPOST ON MY BOARD! MODS PLEASE DELETE
- I'M TYPING IN CAPS LOCK TO GET YOUR ATTENTION! NOW THAT YOU HAVE IT, PLEASE TELL ME WHY I WAS BANNED
- STOP ENJOYING THINGS
- I'd like to make a suggestion (Note: these threads tended to be ignored, even if was a good suggestion)
Anything else would teleport back to page 10 quicker than your last contact with the outside world.
Moot
Moot occasionally liked to enrage people by denying them of their new board or the request to delete a board for the 3,000th time. This usually resulted in people throwing a massive fit and shitting their pants so hard that they became goatse, reincarnated.
Posting actual content
Posting an actual question, solution, or otherwise anything which might possibly improve 4chan in any conceivable way would result in the post being completely ignored, gradually sliding into oblivion as newfags asked for an LGBT board (which they got), for everyone they dislike to be banned, for all bronies to be banned, for all liberals to be banned, for all conservatives to be banned, and for all Doctor Who posts to be deleted from /v/.
