The Tokyo subway sarin attack was an terrorist act perpetrated on March 20, 1995 by the japanese doomsday cult Aum Shinrikyo (オウム真理教, or 'Supreme Truth' in english). Created by Shoko Asahara in 1987, the attackers release the nerve agent Sarin, a gas so powerful that it killed 13 people, and injured 6,300 others. This is first utilisation of gas by a terrorist organization, Like Al-Quaeda.
