Avery Lundquist AKA Phantom AKA Avery and many other user names, is a known pedophile who is also a registered sex offender (not to be confused with The Phantom from GirlChat). Avery Lundquist began posting on Boychat as "Phantom" in Spring of 1997. Sometime during the month of September, 1997 Lundquist was arrested and questioned after having been reported to the parents of one of the boys he was allegedly molesting. The information was then relayed to authorities.
Like many pedophiles, Lundquist adamantly defended this situation by saying he was only helping the children; that their parents didn't pay attention and the only way they would become anything is if he helped them. There were at least two children involved in this situation, one of them he claims to have had custody of. He further admitted to having physically harmed one of the children, negating his claim that he only had their best interests at heart. Later, he met up with fellow Boychatters Ed, klatu AKA wzzzy, Lonnie and dee in May, 1998. Fellow BoyChat posters shared his resentment towards the person who reported this, while Boychatters klatu (wzzzy) and Dennis provided support via telephone.
By his own admission, and consistent with documented records, he and fellow Boychat poster wzzzy (aka klatu and dotman) were both arrested in 2000 for an offense that occurred in 1999. Lundquist claimed on Boychat in 2007 they were arrested because a man they were trying to help raped a boy. Records show the victim(s) to be under the age of 18 and that a computer was involved. In June, 2000 Lundquist was sentenced to 36 months in prison and an 84 month suspended sentence; the time was served within the Arkansas Department of Corrections system. His partner in crime remains in jail.
Lundquist last surfaced on Boychat in March, 2007. As of 2009, he was listed as an inmate at the Broome County Jail.
