The gravitas cockroach. Kaia, better known as his widely common nickname "roach" is a fine specimen for any established entomologist and a massive object of intrigue when regarding insect evolution. His abysmal state of appearance is saddening, and many people stare where ever he dares to venture. He himself has been the bane of every insult possible, and as a roach has suffered severe backlash and discrimination.

History

Kaia was the last of his cockroach kin to scuttle out of his egg, and subsequently was the runt of the litter. His roach kin would often look down upon him, always stealing his share of dog shit or dead flies leaving him to often starve. The home that the family of roaches plagued was an old, dementia suffering women's Mt Wellington state house who they eventually ate alive after she quit feeding them. For over a year, the hoard of roaches were left in peace to then feast on whatever they could find, until a dark day. This day, burned into Kaia's mind is one of the worse to ever befall him, or possibly the best. The bug man came. The bug man reeked a hiroshimaish day of reckoning upon the roaches, carpet bombing them with Mortein bug spray like a B52 in Vietnam with a shit load of Napalm. The following minutes saw almost all of Kaia the roaches family perish in the hellfire, with them swerviling up and hissing their last. On her last dying breath, Kaia's mother reportedly said to him "You better not fucking touch the raisin bread!" (in unintelligible roach speak).
