HALP PLZ: So I have a few .gifs from ED.com which I want to re-upload, but when there is a thumbnail placeholder there, it doesn't update to my version after I upload. The change shows up in my contribs, but not on the file itself and the .gif remains broken. Someone know what causes this/how I fix it?

If the Image is protected (i.e. if there is no revert button for earlier versions), then a sysop has to confirm the upload I think. Also sign your messages with 4 tildes ( ~ ) --Molkemon 04:39, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

NZFag refugee from original ED. I was a long-time lurker there and never did much but correct typos there but I'll make it a "When I'm bored" pass-time to search through the bowels of my old laptop's ED page and re-upload images that have been lost and generally help rebuild. I guess it's true what they say "You never appreciate something until it's gone".
