Hey

HEY THERE!
Hey, Sburke! I saw what you did with those edits.
I just wanted to say keep up the good work.

Thank you! I am batshit crazy, so making these edits while eating Clonazepam like they're M&Ms counts as occupational therapy for me... thus fulfilling prophecy. -Sburke 23:02, 1 February 2012 (CET)

anchor template

Whut Mike the Great (talk) 05:00, 5 June 2012 (EDT)

Nevermind, it was just a shitty idea I got from Wikipedia. They have this idea that you would want an anchor (expressed as {{anchors|whatever|morestuff|...}}, rendering as ) with the point being that you could make a [[Entryname#whatever]] link to a subsection, even if the subsection's heading gets renamed. But now I think it's a dumb idea for oh these many reasons: using it will link to you the section, but with the heading off the top of the screen (oops); and I can't remember the last time I've actually seen a section heading renamed anyway; AND the people who would appreciate having those anchors for link-making purposes would never see them unless they, for no reason, viewed source on those sections. Supposedly there's something that...takes care of this all somehow, but the example for it at Wikipedia breaks the entire universe if you actually try it. I blame my temporary enchantment with that idea on the smell from my burning processor fan. It tastes like purple. —Sburke 05:39, 6 June 2012 (EDT)

magnotta ohinternet article

hi. if you really think having it there increases the lulz count, im not going to argue. but i don't see how ohi's article on magnotta merits a mention any more than the other subjects covered by ohi. :\ -hipcrime 03:28, 24 June 2012 (EDT)

Oops, I screwed up... and am confused. At ~the_diff~, I saw the adding of that paragraph consisting of "([200 @'s])", and figured that that was vandalism... And I figured that such a contribution also including deleting a section wasn't going to be anyone trying to improve the article... But now that I look at how that actually looks in ~the_rendering~, there's no @@@-etc there... and the @@@-etc listed on the diff spookily lacks a line-number saying where the paragraph appeared. (BTW, I have no actual opinion on the OHI link paragraph; and I see that Oblique has since deleted it, which is fine by me.) But anyway, as to the mystery of the weird @@@-etc paragraph that exists at no line number— I now infer that it's a special Wikimedia thing, which I didn't know at the time (or I would have kept my hands off it… I don't like pissing on mysterious things, on the principle that they could be a mystery third rail). Just for my general ejumacation, what does it mean? —Sburke 21:17, 24 June 2012 (EDT)
sokay. The link you have there is for the oldid, not the diff. The @s edit summary was a result of being "impaired". :) -hipcrime 01:09, 25 June 2012 (EDT)

Exactly! Thanks! —Sburke 21:19, 20 October 2012 (EDT)
