A Goofy Newfie is a Canadian from the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. Unlike other Canadians, Newfies stand oot from the other North Americunts you like to laugh aboot because of their accent.

Nick Bate imitates a Newfie accent on his Twitter, changing "ow" and "ou" to "oo" whenever they're pronoonced like the "ow" in cow or the "ou" in out, because it's the only way he knows hoo to stand oot as a wannabe Canadian from the crood of Americans who don't want a change of passport.
