The Last American Hero

A challenger appears: Rockne Newell of Saylorsburg. Newell had some junk in his yard, didn't mow the grass, tried to repair a bridge without paying a shakedown to the local construction mafia, and to top it all off, defecated in buckets. The town's solution? Make him homeless! But instead of pulling an Aaron Swartz Rockne decided to go down to his local township meeting and earn his 72 virgins.

Meanwhile, the same township has its model tenants two miles to the southeast, the Turkish radical cleric and his Muslim sect (including the pet microbiologist...) People came from Turkey to protest his effort to make the country an Islamic state and the police told them they couldn't walk along the side of the road. [1] Some say the reports of automatic weapons fire and roving helicopters are fabrications...

With the balance of payments reversed, everything has gone on its head - the Muslims are the enlightened burghers, the Americans are the crazed religious lunatics huddling in the mud. Surely the country has to end sooner rather than later, and once it does --- there will be no one to snatch away from Newell the title, Last American Hero. Wnt 01:17, 6 August 2013 (EDT)

ask.fm

A source at the Sun, which on Wednesday described ask.fm as a "suicide site", told the BBC it would cancel the advertising package which saw an advert for the paper's new online service appear on the site. It had said the men behind ask.fm were "troll kings" on its front page.

Several large companies are among those pulling adverts from social media website ask.fm, after the death of a teenager who was bullied online. Mr.Jonzz 17:48, 9 August 2013 (EDT)

A Voice For Men versus Manhood Academy

Everyone knows I lack skill in writing lulzy articles, but I think I at least have a sense of knowing when something has the POTENTIAL to be lulzworthy if covered by someone with adequate reporting skills. I am attaching to the right a picture taken during a recent livedebate that took place 4 days ago (audio here) which one party wrote an article about 2 days ago here. It has to do with a Men's Rights site leader discussing whether or not Manhood101.com qualifies as PUA or not.

This along with MRA interaction with Feminism is seriously lulzworthy internet dramas and I don't think we cover it adequately here. I can't make this funny, I lack the sense of phrasing, but fuck, someone can do it, and it should be done. Untapped market here. 15:34, 11 August 2013 (EDT)

Needs more than a write-up --- does anybody realize how much the internet is going to fucking suck when the spies and PIs get finished trying to get everybody fired who has ever used government-unapproved humor? People will be defecting to the Taliban for the freedom, man, the freedom. Wnt 01:21, 21 August 2013 (EDT)

OhI URL "Hacking"

Just noticed something interesting...
http://cache.ohinternet.com/images/3/35/Nice_guys_always_finish_last.jpg
https://images.encyclopediadramatica.es/3/35/Nice_guys_always_finish_last.jpg

DeHippo apparently never changed the sub-folders around, they're exactly the same! LOL Unfortunately from what I've poked around at so far it only works with images that were KEPT on the new site, so like if you check images they're not presently using, like nyah:
http://cache.ohinternet.com/images/7/78/Grow_a_girlfriend.jpg
https://images.encyclopediadramatica.es/7/78/Grow_a_girlfriend.jpg

Then it comes up dead/404 on OhI's side.

I'm not entirely convinced though that the images are ~totally~ unavailable via URL "hacking". I'm going to keep on poking when I've got some free time, maybe I'll get lucky. --Onideus 07:44, 21 August 2013 (EDT)

The URLs are based on the first 2 characters of the sha1 hash of the file. --TKN 12:07, 7 September 2013 (EDT)

LifeInACamp Suicidal? Is He Faking It To Get Sympathy Or Not?

All I know is it started out as an Anonymous supporter of MrRepzion mirrored this video and Brian accused me of being him. And then the next day, MrRepzion is battling with LifeInACamp and Megan on a three videos from 10Phoenix01, resulting in one of his video being false flagged down for copyright and another for privacy complaint. I am surprised by this drama seeing that it is coming from a guy who threaten Zaiger and many other on Facebook in the past and now he claim he is a victim of cyber-bullying. What you think about this drama? Is he pretending or is it for real? Mirrors II 03:56, 22 August 2013 (EDT)

Don't be fooled. LIAT, along with Megan, will always be full of crap. And the whole bullied-by-MrRepzion and suicidal drama he's posting is just another attention whoring lie for his braindead fans to believe everything he lies about. LIAT Abused Comment

I WAS FUCKING ABUSED BY MY FATHER AND HAD A SHITTY TIME GROWING UP IN SCHOOL CAUSE KIDS PICKED ON ME SO FUCK YOU ASSHOLE! THERE YOU HAPPY! YOU FUCKING HAPPY KNOWING WHY I HAVE SO MUCH ANGER! GO TO HELL

—LIAT as LifeInACamp pissed off as always on YouTube, making an ass of himself.

Either he's gone in a mental rampage or just plain butthurt. Ivo Robotnik: SnooPING AS usual I see! 01:29, 23 August 2013 (EDT)

Big Red

Would anyone know if we have coverage of this belle? This feminist is a bit of an internet sensation lately, both for her original outburst and her subsequent drama claiming to be the victim of death and rape threats. 17:39, 26 August 2013 (EDT)

There's quite a bit of good potential article subjects in the "feminist community", individuals as well as various groups, like that whole "Slut Walk" group/gatherings, that's been spreading all over the country in the past couple years. They're very ripe for trolling too, awhile back I posted a *single* image on one of their FB groups and it instantly exploded into a 200+ post thread in less than four hours...with NO follow-up replies! o_O

Yet more St. Louis Drama

As if the St. Louis page wasn't fucking long enough, enter this sign.

I hope a nigger steals their bike. --SadMonkey 00:00, 6 September 2013 (EDT)

Also, here's a wiki hack, when you start a new subsection adding "=" as the first and last character makes the post appear twice instead of use H3 headers. --SadMonkey 00:03, 6 September 2013 (EDT)
I'm suspicious as to the veracity of this sign. It smells fake. Even if someone really did print it out and put it on a telephone pole, it may have been done intentionally to look bad. Too many odd typos in there. 05:25, 9 September 2013 (EDT)

Honey Badger Radio

I think this would make an interesting article. I don't know if individually these three are lulzy enough to qualify, but now that the trio has given themself a superhero name, something talking about them would be drama-inducing since they're a bunch of female Men's Rights Activists going to war with Feminism. If I didn't think so before, noticing their use of fursonas in their second group promotional video is straw that broke the camel.

Group is composed of Girl Writes What (aka Karen Straughan) and Typhon Blue (aka Alison Tieman or possibly Asha James) and Oneioros Grip (aka Della Burton) according to their promotional videos.

YT accounts: GWW / TB, not sure if OG has one. Podcasts are hosted at BlogTalkRadio mixed in with other AVFM stuff, hesitant to post direct links because fucking BTR autoplays them which is fucking annoying especially if you're the type to like to download. As far as I can tell the five episodes so far (they record Thursdays, sometimes get uploaded by Friday) are (right click to save as, direct links):

  1. Aug 15 about Cathy Young
  2. Aug 22 about A Witch Hunt in Atheism? related to "Atheism Plus"
  3. Aug 29 about Dr. Phil and the Feminist Inquisition
  4. September 5 about Rape as Political Currency
  5. September 12: no recording, hasn't aired yet

Came across MRAsExposed in the comments section who protests about GWW and John the Other who edits the A Voice For Men web site. Haven't watched vids yet so unsure as to nature of criticism. 05:52, 9 September 2013 (EDT)

you may have to go into the tumblr setting and fix the custom domain to .es, though i haven't used tumblr since a year ago when i deleted mine, so it may have changed, especially w/ yahoo in charge now.-- Talk to me|Contribs 22:53, 18 September 2013 (EDT)

Spreading word of our new domain

Should a sysop speak to the Daily Dot, Gawker, or some other media source in order to spread word of the domain change and possibly create a reliable source about the latest domain change for Wikipedia? --JuniusThaddeus 06:50, 19 September 2013 (EDT)

I'll write up a short write-up stub here, but will need some help finishing it: User:CrackRabbit/ED.es PR Draft-- Talk to me|Contribs 20:10, 19 September 2013 (EDT)

Here's what I've got so far, and likely all that I will write of it, please add to it:

Encyclopedia Dramatica would like to announce that we have switched domains from encyclopediadramatica.'''se''' to encyclopediadramatica.'''es'''. While the new domain, at .es can usually be confused with .se, it should not be that hard to remember unless you're a total fuckwit. The new domain, like the old one is HTTPS-certified by GlobalSign nv-sa, so you don't have to worry about nearby stalker neighbors eavesdropping on your lulz addiction.

Kanye vs Jimmy Kimmel using memes

Someone is hilariously driving Kanye West to lose his shit online, resulting in the latter attempting to answer back by using Spongebob quickmemes and shitty demotivators... and failing miserably in the process.
