"Section 223 of title 47 as amended by the Communications Decency Act states that any comment, request, suggestion, proposal, image, or other communication which is obscene, lewd, lascivious, filthy, or indecent, child porngraphy with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass another person; including the Internet - may be subject to legal actions which may carry fines and prison time.

ED, you need to take the page down with no questions asked or the DHS will be notified. I've put together a petition of over 5,000 people willing to take this to the DHS in personal e-mails.

-

Cyber-stalking is a serious crime, and the page serves no purpose other than to support it. We've had numerous calls and threats because of the said page, including the real first, middle, and last names, and/or businesses.

-

It is in ED's best interest to respond swiftly to remove the page before I take this to the Department of Homeland Security under the cyber-stalking and internet crimes act at the following link; [link to www.dhs.gov]

-

Take this seriously as it is only one page you must remove to prevent further action against the hundreds of pages on your site.

Paraphrasing from Wikipedia:
Section 230 of the same Communications Decency Act: "No provider or user of an interactive computer service shall be treated as the publisher or speaker of any information provided by another information content provider". Effectively, this section immunizes both ISPs and Internet users from liability for torts committed by others using their website or online forum, even if the provider fails to take action after receiving actual notice of the harmful or offensive content.

And that is if we were even an American site, which we aren't. Maybe you could call the Swiss Department of Justice on us and see if they care. A website cannot be guilty of "cyber-stalking". A person can stalk, a website cannot. You are going to have to take it up with the person who is writing things about you. If you feel someone is stalking you on the Internet, then I would encourage you to call the police. --zaiger (talk) 06:17, 23 December 2011 (CET)
