We Sorta Already Have This
Right nyah: https://encyclopediadramatica.es/Nigerian_Scam_Email
Most of the article is about tricking/reverse scamming dumbfuck Nigerians. --Onideus 09:10, 6 October 2013 (EDT)
- So ... make this a redirect and add material to that page? Soylent Green 09:15, 6 October 2013 (EDT)
- Well, if you have enough material to make a new article then go for it, otherwise it might just be easier to add to the existing one. There's potential for a separate article if you can find enough stuff for it, but it'll be more work all around. The only thing that comes directly to mind is taking those paid postage envelopes that scam spammers send you and then filling them with with a big hard chunk of flat heavy metal. Basically they get charged by the weight, so the more people that do it, the more money it winds up costing them (and they don't get anything else out of it). There's a lot of other forms like that, non-Nigerian related and even non-Internet related, so if you can find enough of them then I'd say it warrants a separate article. --Onideus 09:31, 6 October 2013 (EDT)
- It's more about the attitudes of the scam-baiters, and how they think they are saving the world. There has been wars between them, wild accusations, splits, and a whole lot of lulz over nothing.
It won't be ABOUT scam baiting - there are forums devoted to that - but about the other things that go on in the scam baiting world, which are about people who take themselves too seriously. --Soylent Green 10:04, 6 October 2013 (EDT)
