#EndFathersDay

Because all fathers are abusive.

EndFathersDay was /pol/'s much more successful take on the ruse. Because father's day was just around the corner at the time the movement started, they realized they could extract some lulz from the ordeal by making a twin for ShutDown4chan. #EndFathersDay or #SingleMothersDay was the result, it quickly caught on with feminists and other groups who inhabit the more sucky corners of the internet. The goal of the movement was, supposedly, to either rid the tradition of father's day completely or replace it with a new holyday, which would celebrate single mothers instead of fathers.

It quickly caught on with the target group and lasted much longer than its half-wit brother, but it was still uncovered. Like #Shutdown4chan, it was kept alive by humorless cunts who can't recognize even the most obvious troll.
