- Doge is the bastard child of tumblr and /sp/. Now, while /sp/ would like to think that they created this hilarious and original meme, in fact it was first made on tumblr in 2012. To this day, /sp/artans are still butthurt that they are not the father. Most doge images involve a combination of improper english and Comic Sans, as expected of something dredged up from the bowels of the internet.
