Necomouse was a photo of uncertain origins that Wikimedia hosted for over eleven years, despite numerous attempts to delete it.

Alkivar uploaded the photo to Wikipedia and added it to Wikipedia "Necrophilia" article in February 2005, but an anon removed the photo from the article in May 2005.

A year later, in May 2006, Wikipedo "JayW" restored the photo to the article and guarded the photo during several edit wars ([3], [4], [5], [6], [7]) until he was blocked sockpuppetry (but most importantly, being a sick fuck) in May 2007.

The photo was finally removed from the Wikipedia article in September 2007, after an epic edit war.

In March 2016, the sourpusses finally overran Commons and deleted the image due to a copyright issue.
