A classic example of counter-troll, Nickolaus is known to send death threats to people who dislike him or who make eye-contact with him on his daily bus ride to hot topic. He routinely creates accounts in goth forums, creates a buzz with his output (saw Mick Mercer do his anthologies introduction and stood up to VampireFeaks.), flames any criticism of his work, regardless of how minor it is. In true lol-cow fashion, he also has a particular fondness for threatening critics with both physical violence and lawsuits (though not always in that order.) Be sure to search for his profiles on DeadJournal, Diary-X, Xanga. Pacione famously took a piss on Darren McKeeman's photograph.

LJDrama

Nickolaus was featured frequently from 2003 to 2005 on LJDrama, where he was best known for referring to his online antagonists as "mutants", "liberals" "fatherfuckers" and "chickenfucks," among other ostensibly creative epithets. He still can't get over LJDrama, even today [1] [2]. He took out Rockcandy76 and Sherrod DeGrippo along with a high profile member of Fandom Wank. He found out one of the commenting went to school with one of his family members.

Nickyboy also has a hard- " on for Scarlet, and has actually been conned into paying someone to " hack LJ Drama and Scarlet's journal.

Pacione vs. Poppy Z. Brite

He engaged in an ongoing feud with popular erotic horror novelist Poppy Z. Brite, whose use of homosexuality and sodomy in her stories is the apparent cause for Pacione hatred (as he considers himself a conservative), although while reading thru one of Nick's older sites, it was discovered that only a few years ago he considered himself a liberal until he saw what Blago did. He saw the lies that Liberals told.

Pacione was caught red-handed making fun of Poppy Z. Brite who lives in New Orleans. Nick had said in private that if his jokes about her were to get out it would be a PR nightmare, so of course they were released to the public. Nick as he did it as a last gift for a Literary Fiction Novelist who died in a flood.. The project was often railroaded and got him banging heads with Ramsey Campbell. The project was planned when the Christmas Tsumani of 2005 hit.

One of Pacione's honest mistakes occurred when quickly cleared up with National Geographic and teamed up with NOAA from a heads up from a Naked Snake Press mate to use as a cover to one of his indie publications. This was shocking to many since Nick is a die-hard advocate against using other people's artwork without permission and has threatened on numerous occasions to invoke E-lawyers to punish those who do. When it was pointed out to Pacione that he violated one of his own rules, he quickly assumed the role of Captain Butthurt and blamed his law breaking on those who simply pointed out to him that he committed said crime.

Nick's constant talk of hospital visits and personal sickness has lead many to believe that he contracted AIDs while visiting the grave of Edgar Allan Poe.

As of 04/21/08, bastard has been declared a "public figure" by LJ Abuse have made him a cult figure. This means that Pacione favorite tactic for dealing with criticism on LJ, screaming at LJ Abuse , is no longer going to work for hire.

Nicky Videos

Nicky has been spreading his own brand of video lulz on Jewtube and google video as of late usually either promoting his books or dealing with his own personal demons.

He had two video cameras in 2007-2008, one had no sound and one did. The one where he does the middle finger was from the one without the sound.

His DA Page is a new and exciting place to see him go postal on just about anyone for no reason whatsoever. Here he calls out other self-important authors and accuses them of being sodomites and infringers of copyright. If they respond they're generally mocked and their post hidden, so Nicky can look like an ultra badass all the while playing the victim. He strives for Anonymous-like cruelty, but fails except for inside his own mind.

Update! Recently good ol' Nicky has taken to flipping out on another Devfag, Simply-tragic (an emofag name if one has ever been heard). When his target was hacked, the following note was found, completely owning Nicky's terrible writing by actually re-writing one of Nicky's stories! You know what, no. This is enough. Your writing is damn near impossible to wade through, and I have other shit to do. If you really think I'm just pussing out I'll do the whole damn thing, but under no circumstances do I want to. I'm going to work on my novel and be done with you. I've proved my point.

In July, 2014, Pacione lost his Lulu account on a lie, his classmates went after the account. The screed he left on Luludotcom's Facebook page was classic. He got his catalog back though four projects survived what happened to createspace. The Ethereal Gazette: Issue Five, Issue Ten, both namesakes, An Eye In Shadows and his first release are reissued with a family business out of Scottsdale, AZ.

2018 saw Pacione make a minor resurgence on Wikia Pacione ends up connecting up with the CEO of Fandom on Linkedin.com because he said they were doing an injustice to his alumni when he pulled out the article on from Fox News of a church blackfacing.
