We realize a lot of you are busy or may be new to ED, so here's just the most important info:

• Read ED:101. Seriously. The information contained within is invaluable. Further tutorials of use can be found here.
• To answer a message, reply on the user's talk page (Tab at the top that says 'discussion').
• Sign your comments by using four tildes (like this ~~~~)
• These are the sysops. If you have a problem, talk to them. They're here to help; we promise.
• The TJC is the community portal. It's linked to from every page; just look at the top left of the page. Check it daily.
• Use Special:Upload to upload pictures. Be sure to give them meaningful names. Also, do not upload any CP or Bestiality pr0n or you will be b&.
• Feeling social? Enjoy forums? Join here.
• See ED:HELP and ED:POLICY for everything else.

Protip: Don't make an ass of yourself over some shitty edits.

Read those edits you made to the Minecraft article, and wow, BakaRed reverted some infantile bullshit.

Regardless, if you disagree, do the mature thing and hash it out with the EDitor you disagree with instead of chimping out. BakaRed is a sysop, as am I, and repeatedly fucking with us is an easy way to get banhammered.

mmmokay, couple points:

1) It was reverted after my first save while I was still editing. I reverted it after I added more lulz, and then I asked in the ED IRC channel if somebody had a problem with it. Crickets. got reverted a few more times, figured it was white knights or some shit. Then the page got locked :D

2) I replaced a frank summary with lulz. I... don't see what I did wrong. If you could explain it to me, how calling someone who sold out their fans some childish insensitive names is worse than the Jews did WTC page, then I will listen.

3) FROM YOUR PAGE: "THINGS TO REMEMBER: Adding as much lulz to ED as possible. DON'T be the kind of cunt who shits on new user talk pages concerning their new work. Onideus did that shit, and he was a massive faggot for it." ???

Do you have a beef if I make a different page under Notch since it would be new? Actually I don't care I just did it.

• What I think DarkLordTR is trying to get across, is that your addition to the article was too far on the "Lulz u guise hur hur" side of things. While we have plenty of articles that are definitely written like that, we do our best to try and find a happy middle ground. I apologize for outright protecting the article, but try to understand from our perspective that we get people who purposely add terrible additions to articles as a form of vandalism on an almost weekly basis. Good though your intentions were, the end result was, put bluntly, terrible. If you like, I'd be happy to go through your additions in detail to show you how to improve them.
