Misery

Anti-serious hipster culture can antithesis itself due to the demand for such experience; one example is Obama voters believing in "hope" and "change". Just like how the Republican take over in the French revolution lead to the replacement of the old God with the cult of reason (in French "cult" does not or did not have a negative connotation), a replacement religion which lost following, sort of. Atheists, just like most people, have a need for larger truth: "Science and reason".

One can know the future and change it if one understands the effects of causes. Critical theorists and Postmodernists use this tactic. When truth is deconstructed, people are broken, and everyone feels miserable, then "ministry of truth" can step in to "save" everyone by giving them "hope" and "change" in some "larger truth". Basically they want everyone to depend on the state so they can rewrite them to their liking.  —Lolyunohavgudsoftware 02:52, 24 February 2016 (EST)
