12/2/2012 version just isn't lulzy anymore

This is a decent enough page, factually speaking, but it has more in common with TV Tropes than ED now. It seems that in an attempt to cleanse the crap and unfunny gross-out humour, the biting wit got lost. The page hardly even dwells on the fact this is a game about SCREWING A TENTACLE MONSTER WHO LOOKS LIKE AN UNDERAGE GIRL anymore. I'm not going to revert the page, but I will restore some of the content from one of the earlier versions, clean it up, and add a few more pictures.--Ambient Malice 11:46, 11 February 2013 (EST)

I agree. I actually wrote the first few versions of this page, and I h8 the recent version myself. Do what you can to restore the lulz, because it does read like something written by a troperfag in it's current state. DarkLordTR 12:21, 11 February 2013 (EST)DarkLordTR
I revised it because every other word in the original draft was "faggot". Please avoid such 13-year-old mannerisms this time. 13:53, 11 February 2013 (EST)
Just looked over this revision, and I see the word "faggot" at least four times, so yeah, it could have been replaced with a different word a few times, but it wasn't used too much IMO. Two times it was used was to refer to the game characters in game reactions to the story, and two times to refer to groups who would view the game and their reactions to guro porn. Still, a rewrite with less use of that word (but with most of the earlier lulz preserved) wouldn't be a bad idea. DarkLordTR 14:29, 11 February 2013 (EST)DarkLordTR

So I completed the first draft of the revert\rewrite, and I'm generally pleased with it. I feel as if it would benefit from some trimming, but I'm not sure where to start. So for now I just settled with a few post-draft tweaks to fix typos and make it flow better.--Ambient Malice 22:40, 11 February 2013 (EST)
