How to be useful
- If someone is working on a new article, help them. Add relevant portal/series templates and categories. Without being in the way, do a little clean up. Lead by example.
- When someone is being useful, provide them with feedback. Let them know their contribution to the wiki is useful.
- When someone writes a decent article, give them an award. Invite them to continue writing for ED. Your job is to help ED retain it's contributors so they may someday become great like you.
- Review Did you know?...
- Review new articles
- Patrol recent changes
- Check current threat
- Update good/bad articles
- Special maintenance page
- will make list
- XOTN
Don't
- Don't {{crap}}{{deathnotice}} on articles less than two weeks old. If you're not going to assist someone who is new and doesn't have a clue then do something else.
- Don't move articles being worked on to someone's user space. There is no reason they can't work in the main space. Again, if you can't be helpful, then leave them alone.
- Don't get into edit wars without discussion saying something in the talk page.
- Don't delete images unless they are in violation of ED's policies.
