In [[truth]], dubstep is a musical genre devoid of real talent or artistic integrity. The fabled "drops" sound like a down syndrome android taking a dump through a [[Apple|vocoder]]. Even when the production is clean and decent samples are used, there is a glass ceiling of garbage and wackness that dubstep is unable to rise above. There has been no dubstep song that was memorable or of serious quality. I mean, the weird sound effects [[bullshit|might sound interesting at first]], but the novelty very quickly wears off. All you are left with is a bunch of pop songs being churned through a simplistic formula, with a standard-issue spastic drop thrown in. The genre is so limited and dumb in its nature that it simply cannot develop past this.
