Hi Psychotic Dictatorship!!!!! You're very nice! I like you!
I don't have much MediaWiki experience, so I googled stuff, lurked, and read skimmed through the documentation. The template system looked like fun. I saw a Wikipedia page disparagingly call it "a template system onto which was bolted various extensions over time to try to make it into a programming language". Sounds accurate! The row number stuff was literally copied and pasted from Wikipedia LOL. No way I'd learn 2 code for wiki magic stuff. I thought MediaWiki supported it natively, but it did not! One thing I wondered before making an account was whether Visual Editor existed here, since it seemed more convenient for editing tables. Tables are not beautiful in Wikitext.
Thx for your contributions too! You added a TON of media and links (I wonder if the Jimmy Edwards channel really was William Atchison's), and you sometimes write too, which is something I've rarely done. Good luck on your article about the Crocus City Hall attack and your other planned articles!

The copying and pasting stuff is crazy becuz that's literally how I operated when I first came to ED. Just copy and paste the templates from other articles. Now I'm getting better tho and can actually write some of them out without looking which makes things a lot easier. Otherwise, I just go to the proper templates category. I got to the point where I can see pretty well through the Wikitext, kinda like how Cypher can see through the code in the Matrix. "I don't even see the code. All I see is [link], {{template}}, [[redirect]]." Also, I'm sooo lost with that page you linked. Like, I saw it mention Lua and I'm thinking, "Wait, isn't that what Gmod and Roblox is coded in?" idk lol.
Here, check this out. Near the bottom of the table is a tag for visual edits. I guess ED really did have the visual editor at one point. Whatever the case may be, it's discontinued.
I gotta admit, I wasn't the one who found the Jimmy Edwards channel. There's this one YT channel (probably ran by an ED user honestly) that uploaded some content related to the Aztec shooting, and there in the comments somebody mentioned it, so props to that guy. Anyways, I'm dragging my feet with that Moscow shooting article. Better get crackin'.
P.P.S. I like you a lot too ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Tell Xv to get his ass back on ED!! I've seen some of the stuff he's capable of. He could really improve improve the place (especially considering that some of the other high score editors aren't editing as much atm).

Thanks for adding me to your user page as "Astounding archivist"! I haven't downloaded that much media yet. I mostly use the Wayback Machine and archive.today. However, it's very true that I love archives and archiving.
The extent of my knowledge about Lua is also that it's used in Roblox. Wikipedia says Lua was "designed primarily for embedded use in applications". That page I linked is lost on me too. It's about converting templates to use Lua modules, but I don't understand it. I quoted it only because I thought it was funny. I also noticed the Visual Editor tag on the Special:Tags page. I wonder what happened.
Anyways, nice talking to you here! I don't know what's up with Xv. I don't know him well. I have several things I want to add to this wiki, but I don't seek out information or media specifically for it. I just add stuff whenever it's convenient.
