In 2009, a YouTube video of a middle-school student defecating at school inspired him to post his own video on the website, giving his phone number and asking the kid to give him a call and replicate the act for him. Rehahn, then a novice of web technology, mistakenly thought his video would be sent as a private message, when it was actually available for all to see. In the aftermath, he was investigated by his employer at the behest of concerned parents, checked out by police and inundated with prank calls and cyber-bullying from those who called him a pedophile or a homosexual (both of which he vehemently denies). Seeking concerns over future employment, Rehahn tried to void all web content regarding the incident, but his videos were mirrored by a YouTube user in Canada."	„
