Megan Fox is a highly sophisticated Muppet developed by the Jim Henson creature shop. It is the culmination of 20 years of research, and made its official debut in 2007's Transformers live-action film. adaptation.
Early Development
In early 1987 Jim Henson was attending a party at the Playboy mansion, and was approached by Hugh Hefner. Hefner, a long time fan of Henson's work, proposed the idea of a pornstar who never aged, and had the scientifically perfect look to make lonely, horny men the world over compelled to throw money at her. The idea intrigued Henson, and he left the party that night unable to shake the idea from his mind. Up until his death in 1990, Henson worked tirelessly on the development of what he referred to as "Project Marilyn", in honor of Marilyn Monroe whom he masturbated to regularly as a teenage boy. According to his son, Brian, technological limitations endlessly frustrated Henson during the project's infancy.

Unable to achieve satisfactory results, Henson sought advice from his close friend, famed director of Star Wars, George Lucas.
—George Lucas |
According to Lucas, Henson was looking for the method of animatronics used to move R2D2 and C-3PO around the Star Wars set without any visible wires. After telling Henson that it was just a British guy in a costume, a midget in a trashcan, and that it was far too late for him to care about his drunken delusions, Lucas pointed him towards some of his connections at the Walt Disney themeparks who were experts in animatronics.
